When I was in the Year 10 Media, class they planning their magazine covers. After the students found their image that they are going to do. I went around and helped out the girls with the writing, as they had to analysis the photos and reinterpret the text into what they want from the photo. I remembered how to do this, since I did it last year and I knew how to do it. I was glad that most of the students ask me for help. I had to read some of the texts on their magazine and then help them change it into their own. I caught kids doing something besides doing their work and I told them to show Ms Telisa and get her approval. I wasn't so happy that, there was a group of kids in the back that weren't doing their work at all. So I stayed in that area to make sure that they were doing it. Then they realized that I wouldn't go away until they started or finished their work, so they continued their work.
I kept going around the class, helping out students when they called over and gave them some tips. I would also question them to, just to throw it in there to question them about their decision. It was also a challenge for me as well, since I would always write statements that would question people and their decision or actions.
A lot of the students liked having me around as I would chat to them as well as helping them. I think Ms Telisa is happy to that I am there, taking my own free-times and helping her out. I can't believe so many Year 10s took media, but then again it's allot easier then doing IT at times. I noticed that most of the students are having more fun in media, since there are more fun activities to do in class.
It was fun helping out with the Year 10s again.
