Chance of a Lifetime

A new life begins,
with people, who you don’t know. Being given to live and learn to grow.
Changes ones self’s destiny. Deserted and left behind. Emotions filled with sadness and despair.
Fairness is far from fair. Grief fills the air of the one’s who left. Happiness means nothing to someone who has nothing.  Isolated from the world outside, trapped in time of past life. Just a dream of freedom from this small world is so far beyond from touch.
Keeping one’s hope is hard to bare.
Limited, choices are to be made, in a
case of bringing hope to life.
Making a change in someone’s life
can make a difference in the world.
Nothing to do, but wait and wait until the time is near.
Opening doors to the world outside has finally come.
Patient is the key as it has its rewards.
Quickly the outside world has come upon into the heart of China.
Raising tension is brought upon as the worries grow, to the children who have a chance.
Stopping, one by one the children are chosen by the West. Thoughts of how the children will be, in the outside world with their new homes. Unsatisfied the caretakers were, that the children were taken from their care, since the children were brought. Vacancy the orphanage has come quickly all but a few left in their care. While waiting for the ones’ of the West return. Xī () means hope. Yes, the day has come to take me home. Zodiac year has ended as yet a new one begins, full of hope.

I like the way you've chosen different shapes and word clouds to work with. Why have you done this? In particular why did you choose the skull and cross bones for your poem?
